Thomaston Athletic Field Use Requests

The Thomaston Athletic Field is available by request for personal use, fundraising tournaments, and other approved activities. All field use must be approved in advance by the Thomaston Recreation Department and is subject to field and scheduling availability.

Batting Practice (BP): No Charge. Use of the field for batting practice requires prior approval from the Recreation Director. Following use, the batter’s box must be properly raked.

Personal & Fundraising Tournaments: All tournaments and organized events require proof of appropriate insurance coverage. Event insurance may be obtained through GatherGuard: https://gatherguard.com/

Field Use Fees: The facility use fee for the Thomaston Athletic Field is $300. The Upper Oceanside baseball Field may be added for an additional $100, dependent on availability.

Field Lights: Use of the athletic field lights is available for an additional $50 per game. Light usage must be requested and approved in advance as part of your facility reservation.

Submitting a request does not guarantee field use. Approval will be provided after the Recreation Department reviews availability, the type of activity, insurance requirements, and any other applicable facility needs.

  • I agree to follow all established field use rules and regulations.

  • I understand all registration payments must be made payable to the Thomaston Recreation Department unless prior written approval is granted.

  • I accept responsibility for participants, spectators, and event conduct.
