Thomaston’s Community Easter Eggstravaganza
When:Spring is on the way and that means it’s time for one of Thomaston’s favorite traditions to return. Join us for the Thomaston Community Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 4th at 10:00AM outside the Thomaston Municipal Building.
Kids will search for thousands of colorful eggs during our community egg hunt, organized by age group so everyone has a fair shot at filling their baskets. And yes, the Easter Bunny will be there for photos and to help kick off the fun.
Age Groups:
• 4 & Under
• Ages 5 to 7
• Ages 8 & Older
Please remember to bring a basket to collect eggs. A limited supply will be available if needed.
This event is powered by community volunteers, and we could really use your help.
- Volunteer Opportunities:
- Egg Filling Night: Thursday, April 2 at 5:30PM, Recreation Community Room (Municipal Building)
- Event Day Volunteers: Help hide eggs, distribute baskets, guide age groups, and keep the morning running smoothly.
- Easter Mini-Sessions by Jessica LeCaptain Photography will be available onsite for $25
- Stick around after the hunt because Taco Joe’s Food Truck will be there serving up tacos and other favorites until supplies last.
We are also gratefully accepting candy donations to help fill the eggs and make the hunt even more exciting for the kids.
If you would like to volunteer or donate candy, please contact jbarrows@thomastonmaine.gov.
Bring the family, bring a basket, and come celebrate spring with the Thomaston community.
